Trekking and Canoe Expedition
Experience the splendour of its mountains and rivers

June 30 2012 to July 15 2012, July 14 to July 29 2012

Mountains, tundra, sea, fjords and the turquoise water of the Koroc River are the natural elements of this expedition. The emotion and power they elicit are nothing less than inspiring. Be ready to seize every incredible opportunity: close encounters with wildlife, exceptional plant discoveries, spectacular landscapes, not to mention Arctic silence and tranquillity.

Trekking Expedition
A trek through the Torngat Mountains and its cultural landscape

August 11 to 19 August 2012, August 18 to 26 August 2012

The whistling wind in these mountains is a constant companion that seems to embody their timeless spirit. Here, you will feel yourself released from the bonds of time. The Mount D’Iberville sector occupies a special magical and spiritual place in Inuit tradition: the abode of the supreme being in their mythology. The Inuit name for this region, Torgnait, means “place inhabited by the spirits”. Throughout their trek into the past, visitors are accompanied by Inuit legends and myths. Let our guides share this exceptional territory with you.

Snowshoe Expedition
Rugged and magnificient

Other expedition dates to come for 2013!

Discover the George River Plateau, the Ungava Coast and the valley of the Koroc River by snowmobile along traditional Inuit travel routes. Or by snowshoe, experience the wind as it sweeps across these amazing landscapes. Snowshoe ascents in this territory are of the most exhilarating kind: tumultuous one moment and filled with silence the next. Plan to do one ascent daily, during daylight hours, that will take not less than four hours. Inuit have used rivers as travel routes since the beginning of time. They have given names to the hills, the mountains, the streams and the sites associated with their activities, wildlife, dangers and other important characteristics. Breath deeply… absorb the spirit of this region.
