Discovering parc national des Pingualuit

School activity, first cycle of secondary

Nunavik Parks is proud to present a school activity for first cycle of secondary students.

The proposed approach is a collaboration between Kativik School Board, Nunavik Parks and the Ministère of Sustainable Development, Environment and Parks.

By participating in reading and comprehension activities, and producing a collage for visitors, students will discover the Parc national des Pingualuit. They also become more aware of the importance of protecting the natural environment.

This activity can be integrated into second language courses in French or English, geography, science or history. It can be used as a learning situation or a learning situation and evaluation situation. The material is available in English, French and Inuktitut.

We hope this activity will spark the interest of students! Have fun!
